The Olde Coach House
Architectural and interior design to a former coach house to a create a 4 bed family home. Our client sought to create a distinction between new and old parts of the building, and improve the overall energy efficiency of the home. For the interiors our client sought to play on a contemporised version of a ‘rural’ aesthetic – authenticity, texture and colour were critical to the design.
The Dales House
Exterior and interior remodelling of a family home in South Wales including extensive exterior landscaping, including pool. Our client sought to create a grand aesthetic and maximise the connection to the surrounding countryside. Terracing and arched forms were used externally to soften the building and embed it within the landscape.

We provide comprehensive end-to-end interior design solutions — from initial space planning and detailed layout development to fully rendered 3D visualisations, and all the way through to the specification and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
Our team brings extensive experience in designing and delivering commercial environments across the hospitality, retail, and workplace sectors. From concept to completion, we manage every stage of the project to ensure impactful design outcomes that drive commercial success for our clients.
We assist developers, investors, and housing associations in identifying and securing residential land — with or without planning permission.
We connect landowners with a trusted network of developers, carefully matched to the specific type and scale of the project.
We identify land and development opportunities that align with housing association needs and assist in structuring turnkey delivery solutions.
We support investors and developers in sourcing and delivering PRS schemes, including those backed by institutional funding.
We provide hands-on sales and marketing support for developers — from branding and positioning to show home launches — to help maximise sales of new-build homes.

Matt Arnold -
Lead Architect PGDip, MArch, BA Hons
Matt heads up the architectural team at Studio Alda, and brings a wealth of experience across both commercial and residential projects. Since graduating with a masters degree from The University of Manchester, Matt has spent over 15 years working for various practices, large and small. His creative eye combined with his wealth of knowledge and attention to detail make every project feel beautifully considered and thoroughly thought through.
Joe Lane -
Head of Interior Design BA Hons
Joe leads the Interior Design team at Studio Alda, bringing over 15 years of experience from working with global agencies on both commercial and residential projects. He specialises in crafting design solutions that are tailored to the client’s needs while upholding a strong and distinct design identity. Joe’s strength lies in his ability to step back and see the bigger picture, ensuring that every project aligns with a broader vision. His holistic approach ensures our interiors are not only responsive to the brief but also progressive, thoughtful, and timeless.
Brett Slater -
Sales & Marketing Director
Studio Alda appointed Brett Slater as Marketing Director to lead early stage growth and strengthen client relationships. With 17 years experience across multiple sectors, Brett brings a proven track record in business development and strategic marketing. He also runs a company serving global clients and major brands, adding international insight to the team. His hands on business expertise helps drive Studio Alda’s long term vision and commercial success.
